HOW TO MAKE LEXIS WORK FROM THE RTS

First, you need to have all the LEXIS program files within your
Malted folder, for example in C:\malted\lexis.

To run the LEXIS from a frame in the RTS, make a button like this:

<BOUNDS UNIFORM="true" LEFT="50" TOP="420" WIDTH="80"
                  HEIGHT="40" RANDOM="false" DISPLAY="center">
   <MEDIA LABEL="dictionary" IMAGE="lexis.gif"
                  VALUE="c:/malted/lexis/lexis.bat" ACTION="winOpen"/>
</BOUNDS>

Also, copy the lexis.gif file into the image folder of your project. Your
students will only have to click on the button to access the LEXIS dictionary
in a window, which will close when they press ENTER without writing any
word to look up. If you experience any problems or need any further help,
you can email me here:
